I am currently going through all my pictures from 2008 to find the perfect ones to put in my Christmas letter. I found a bunch of pictures I liked but that aren’t going to make it into the letter, so I decided to post them here. Please note, this is once again proof of my horrible case of ADD as I need to to a lot of things before I can leave on my trip tomorrow and none of them include uploading my 2008 pics to my blog!
*By the way, at work I write A LOT of memos (funny – I thought I became an accountant because I was better at math than writing…) and our documentation includes words such as “please note” so I am very disturbed to realize that this is now how I write outside of work.
On our cruise from / to Bermuda this past October we saw some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets.
But sometimes I’d get bored of taking a picture of just the sunrise / sunset and find something else to take a picture of…
Mod 22B represents at Anne’s Wedding in Woodinville, WA this past September.
Welcome to Germany!
This had to make it on to my blog. The best cheesesteak in the world – no, this is NOT an exaggeration. Pat’s in Philadelphia, I want to go back just to eat there again.
Riding the Sky Bike at the Franklin Institute Science Museum in Philadelphia. It’s a bike at the top of the museum on a tight rope that is balanced so that you can’t fall off… though they have lots of safety nets below in case something goes wrong…
Very confused over a street that’s named “13 1/2” in DC.
Wow – I need to eat at this place next time I’m in LA. I heard about it from Mary Rambin of Non Society’s blog. Apparently it’s a Mario Batali restaurant filled with cheese dishes. Dad, Ryan and I went to Babbo (Batali’s restaurant in the city) and it was fantastic. We even saw him pull up in his vespa and go in and just start making drinks behind the bar. He was as happy-go-lucky as he appeared to be on Iron Chef.
Hubby forced me to write that I was defeated by Panera Bread and was not able to eat everything… due to the ½ sandwich that is waiting for me to eat it tomorrow morning. Personally I think I could have taken it if I tried really hard.
I was with my hubby at Panera Bread but ordering dinner for just myself as he had already bought his dinner elsewhere. I ordered it “to go” but there was a mix-up and the workers set it up as if we were going to eat at the restaurant. That was easy to ask them to fix but the problem was that they had definitely set up the order as if it were for two people – two sets of trays, napkins, utensils, etc. They totally misjudge how much I can eat as it all was for me!
Tuesday started my diet – which yes, I’ve been told is crazy considering that Thanksgiving is this Thursday but I need to be in a swimsuit by Dec. 20 and don’t want to gross everyone else out so hence, the diet. Unfortunately (who am I kidding – fortunately), my pseudo boss bought my main boss (I have lots of bosses) these amazing cupcakes from Magnolia Bakery and she was super nice and shared it with the rest of us. Okay, guess the diet can start tomorrow…
Dinner at Churrascaria (NYC)
Tonight is the hubby’s birthday so we headed in to NYC for all you can eat meat at Churrascaria. Now I’m so stuffed I can barely move! But definitely check it out if you are a fan of meat meat and more meat.
