I totally missed Father’s Day on my blog.  Well… as my present to my dad is slated to arrive mid-week at the earliest, I also missed it on the gift-giving front.  (Stupid, lame “overnight shipments do not apply to Hawaii” rules.)

Anyway, even though they are a day late – I loved these two Father’s day comments that Ryan showed me last year so figured better late than never.

Okay, I know this is incredibly old and circled the blogs way back when Avatar first came out but since I didn’t get around to seeing Avatar until this weekend I didn’t get just how right the comparison was.

“Every McDonald’s commercial ends the same way, right? “Prices and participation may vary.” I wanna open a McDonald’s and not participate in anything. I wanna be a stubborn McDonald’s owner. Cheeseburgers? Nope. We got spaghetti! And blankets!”
