Since it’s already December I figured I’d pass on posting anything about Thanksgiving, but that was before I remembered there was a picture of me and my Sweater Buddy on camera.  Lucky was less than pleased to pose with me.

I’m more of a cat-person than a dog-person but I always get jealous of how dog owners travel with their pets, take them out to eat, and have all their dogs hang out together.

Case in point!

Especially since things like this tend to happen to my cats if I force them to travel or venture outside.

So I might have gotten a little dog-camera friendly on Thanksgiving.

And one for the money shot.

Also, I just wanted to say a big thank you to Michelle and Brian for once again opening up your home and inviting us to share in your family’s Thanksgiving.  We are truly lucky to have friends like you.

 

Yay for Chrismukkah

For those of you that don’t know, Chrismukkah, as defined by Seth Cohen, is 8 days of presents followed by one day of many presents, aka the celebration of both Hanukkah and Christmas.  We may not be Jewish but thanks to my in-laws fabulous tradition of Stocking Gifts, we can join in on the merriment of Chrismukkah.  Today was the first day of stocking gifts!  Thanks Mom and Dad!

I am the best Christmas shopper ever. There’s going to be quite a few people crashing at my mom’s house this Christmas and she thought it would be nice if we each bought a small $10 gift for everyone else so that those out of towners (including moi!)...

I am the best Christmas shopper ever.  There’s going to be quite a few people crashing at my mom’s house this Christmas and she thought it would be nice if we each bought a small $10 gift for everyone else so that those out of towners (including moi!) would have gifts to open too.  So I took it upon myself to help the hubby shop by buying myself these fabulous bedroom slippers as my present from him.  They were a little over the $10 limit but I’m sure that he will agree that both the slippers and I are worth it. 🙂
