February was about killing myself during the work week in order to enjoy my family during the weekend.
There was also multiple trips to Chuck E. Cheese’s where I fell in love with their pizza and introduced pizza in general to Emma.
And then there were the kiddie rides at Chuck E. Cheese’s. Emma was interested in the rides but the second I put her on the little horse or in the rotating cup and OMG screamfest. But then she went off with Ryan while finished up eating and suddenly, rider extraordinaire (okay, still cautious but loving her ride).
My cousin mentioned that her own high school was having a carnival towards the end of February and with a renewed sense of confidence that Operation: Get Emma to Like Rides was off to a great start we headed off for the long trek. And by long trek I mean 45 minutes away (which IS far for Honolulu people).
Considering Emma had a meltdown when (after already being on the Carousel 3 times already) she was told she needed to wait until we could buy more ride coupons, I say I am on my way to having a riding buddy someday.
Although Emma’s favorite thing to do was hang out at the Children’s Discovery Center.
