One of the things I missed the most about Christmastime in Hawaii while I was living on the east coast was the Honolulu City Lights. Huge sculptures line the government buildings in Honolulu with food vendors, christmas trees and lights galore. Considering how obsessed Emma is with Christmas lights, I figured it would be a huge hit. And it was. She was amazed by the tourist trolley’s decked out in Christmas lights. But the huge barefoot Santa and Mrs. Claus… not even a raised eyebrow.
And as for the towering Christmas tree in the center of everything? She was WAAAYYYY more impressed by this tree instead. Sigh.
