Fun fact. It is over $500 cheaper to be a licensed CPA in the state of Hawaii versus Connecticut. Which means I have been going around trying to collect all the items I need to become relicensed in Hawaii…. College transcript (yikes), CPA test scores (double yikes) and proof of work experience. Now if you divide 10,862 chargeable hours by 5.5 years it’s not that many hours per year but geesh is that painful to look at on paper.
I will never stop singing the merits of working in public accounting after college, but I sure am glad that that part of my life is over.
