I can’t believe how fast the summer flew by. And that I didn’t post at least half of the things I intended to despite being off for 3 months with nothing to do other than keep a newborn alive (okay that part is actually pretty easy…. keeping a newborn (or at least my newborn) happy on the other hand…. much much harder).
So here it is… my summer in pictures. Sorry for the Emma-overload!
We went for walks at Cove Island.
We spent an afternoon with friends at Sherwood Island State Park.
We made friends with the offspring of my friends!
And had lunch at our first (and only) official restaurant (at the Crab Shell).
We got dressed up as a pink fairy for the 2014 NY Renaissance Faire.
We visited the aquarium…. and slept through most of it.
We were the first part of “Papa’s” age spectrum tour…. where he and my step mom visited the youngest member of his family (Emma) and the oldest (my great-Aunt Doreen who is 94)!
We went to Blue Hill to celebrate my birthday.
We made new tumblr friends but slept through some of that playtime.
And with that we say goodbye to Summer 2014!
