Sundays used to be for cuddling with Sushi (Spam and Sox are too ADHD to cuddle for too long) while lazing about on the couch. Now it’s for dancing with Emma, feeding Emma, talking to Emma, burping Emma. Motherhood is at once much harder and much more wonderful than I ever imagined it could be. But sometimes I miss the one-on-one times I used to have with the three furballs. And the fact that they misbehave now much more than they did before makes me think they miss it too. So today while Emma is passed out in the comforting arms of my mom I’m enjoying some much needed cuddle time with my lovable furball. And let me tell you, Sushi makes picture taking a much quicker and easier ordeal because instead of taking hundreds of pictures while cooing, singing, cackling, etc and hoping that one of the pics results in a smile, I just have to call out “Sushi” to get a shot of his photogenic mug.
